2008 Free Tax Sites Announced
There's tax help available for individuals and families in need. The Financial Stability Partnership and the Omaha EITC Coalition want to help people make the most of tax time, and determine if they qualify for the Earned Income Tax Credit. Some locations also offer opportunities to open bank accounts, learn about financial literacy, and get referrals for credit counseling assistance. Distribution Plan for Victims Fund Announced
The advisory committee of the Von Maur Victims Fund has approved a plan to distribute the remaining donor dollars to the families affected directly by the December 5th tragedy.
