Digital TV Conversion Update
The switch to an "all-digital" television signal, now scheduled for June 12, 2009, may leave many elderly and low-income citizens with blank tv screens in their homes. Here's what we all need to know:
 
2009 Walk for Warmth Total

Proceeds from the 2009 Heartland Walk for Warmth on February 20th totaled $45,000. The path around Heartland of America Park in downtown Omaha was crowded with more than 700 walkers who wanted to help families, the disabled and the elderly who struggle to keep their homes warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
