Every day, United Way and its partner agencies provide essential programs to the community.  We impact education, health and income through hundreds of programs in our Heartland community with the help of United Way funding.  But more important than the logistics of their programming are the people we help. 

We decided to show you how your donation implements lasting change in our community by focusing on the faces of those touched by these great services. 

- A refugee who received the help he needed to start his life over again. 

- A young woman who received the assistance she needed to leave an abusive relationship. 

- A Scoutmaster who puts in the extra hours to guide young boys on the path to becoming young men.
