Karen began at the United Way of the Midlands in 2011. Before coming to Omaha, she worked in the United Way system for 13 years, most recently serving as President and CEO of United Way of North Central Florida in Gainesville. Among her achievements there, Bricklemyer developed and implemented a network of research-based programs that targeted the barriers to school readiness through home visitation and teaching, parenting support, a mobile health van and food drives for children. Karen was previously Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer for the United Way of Greater Portland, Maine where she was responsible for Major Gifts-Planned Gifts and implementing a customer relationship model business strategy.

Donna’s career at United Way of the Midlands began in 1983. She held several positions in the campaign department, including her appointment as vice president in 1988. In January of 2000, Donna was named the vice president of Marketing and Resource Development, responsible for campaign, leadership giving and marketing. Additionally, in 2009 she was appointed executive director of United Way of the Midlands Foundation. She is an active Rotary member and volunteers in several school activities.

Linda is a certified public accountant. Before coming to United Way of the Midlands in 1995, she worked for KPMG Peat Marwick where she served several not-for-profit organizations including United Way, Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and the Peter Kiewit Foundation. In addition to finance, Linda is responsible for facilities, human resources, information technology, and risk management. She is a past treasurer for the Nebraska Humane Society and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Nebraska State Society of Certified Public Accountants.
