Information and Referral Specialist I – 2 Part Time Positions Available - Part time, hourly

United Way of the Midlands seeks an individual to play an important role supporting our community, State, and its citizens.  This position assists persons in need by using a computerized database to provide accurate information and make referrals to community health and human service agencies.  In addition to referral duties, this person will maintain and analyze data to determine program effectiveness.

Qualified applicants will possess an Associate’s degree or equivalent, or two years related work experience, or a combination of the above.  To be considered for this position, you must be certified as an Information and Referral Specialist or eligible for such certification.  Excellent interpersonal skills are essential in this position, as is the ability to relate effectively to people from all economic, racial, age, ethnic and social groups.
