The United Way Speakers Bureau connects hundreds of local companies with our network of partner and Community Health Charities agencies to provide quality speakers throughout the United Way campaign.  Each year, we have over 350 speaking opportunities from hundreds of companies.  We want your message to be heard in our community, and we work hard to make sure that all of our requests are evenly distributed between all 51 agencies.

 It’s a very simple process:

1.  Companies interested in running a United Way campaign contact us to set up an agency speaker.  We book rallies for the United Way campaign and the Combined Federal Campaign, which represents multiple U.S. government branches.  Companies can ask for a specific agency or choose to remain within the Education, Income or Health categories.

2.  The United Way Speakers Bureau Coordinator works with your agency to set up a speaker.  If the date and time work for your organization, we then send a detailed confirmation letter.  The confirmation letter will include the expected arrival time, length of speech, specific location details (which department, floor, special entrance, etc.), parking instructions, security protocols, a company and United Way contact, the audience size and description and any requested guidelines for the presentation material.

We promise to give you all of the information you need to arrive at your speaking engagements on time and prepared.  You’re our most valuable asset and we want you to succeed!
