The success of our local nonprofits depends upon the guidance and leadership of the volunteers on their boards and committees. United Way's "Heartland Blueprint" training helps prepare people to serve effectively in these volunteer positions.
Blueprint is a series of workshops over a three-month period that starts in February of each year and concludes with a graduation in May. Applications will be accepted through December 31, 2009 for the 2010 class.Components
Area businesses, corporations, agencies, and civic/fraternal organizations are encouraged to refer minority leaders or potential leaders for consideration. All applicants must complete an application and an interview process.
Requirements Applicants are ethnic minority community individuals whose backgrounds demonstrate leadership potential and a commitment to serve the community.
