The next Community Cupboard pantry is this Saturday, January 8th - 10:00am to 11:30am at Westgate School, 7802 Hascall Street in Omaha.  There will be no age or income restrictions, and no ID is needed.

Countryside Community Church in Omaha, NE. has partnered with the Food Bank of the Heartland to provide a year-round, mobile food pantry, called Community Cupboard, the first Saturday of each month from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m, in the Westgate school gym. The pantry resembles a farmer's market/grocery store design, where a few people at a time shop for what they need and are assisted by volunteers. To ensure there are no barriers to food, the number of times a person can access the pantry per year will be unlimited, and the intake process will involve shoppers providing their name and the number of people in the household. No identification will be required, and no limits will be set on food. Shoppers are eligible to serve as volunteers.
