" 2-1-1 " is the place to call when you're looking for a particular service, hotline, or agency. Instead of making a bunch of phone calls to track down the right number -- talk to an information and referral specialist who has the community's most extensive human service database at their fingertips.

Over the past five years (2006 through 2010), our call volume increased 26% from 51,803 call in 2006 to 65,347 calls in 2010.  November 2010 had the highest call volume per month in our 2-1-1 history at 6,988 calls, beating previous record months by several hundred calls.

No more making a dozen calls to find the right solution for you.
Just dial 2-1-1!

NOTE: Not all cell phones, pay phones and company pbx phone systems allow callers to dial 2-1-1 or other three-digit phone numbers.  But you can still reach the 2-1-1 call center by dialing (402) 444-6666.

***The 2-1-1 call center has taken hundreds of calls after Nebraska storms and floods in the past few years. Some were from citizens looking for disaster relief services, and others are from property owners reporting storm damage; 2-1-1 forwards those damage reports to local emergency management agencies.
