The Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) is the way America's federal employees help communities around the world provide services to those in need.
 
The Local Federal Cordinating Committee contracts with United Way of the Midlands to run the local Combined Federal Campaign. United Way provides staff support, training and materials to federal offices that participate in the annual drive.
 
The Heart of the Midlands CFC proudly serves federal workers in 91 Nebraska counties and eight counties in Iowa. That's the power of 19,000 people who work to keep our nation strong. The annual campaign begins each September. Employees of the U.S. Government can direct their charitable gifts to local, national and international helping agencies.
