In times of economic downturn, providing basic needs to struggling populations is essential to our community. Families can’t begin to rebuild if they can’t feed themselves. At Salvation Army, filling this basic need is second nature. Their Soup Kitchen, located at the North Corps Center in North Omaha, provides thousands of meals a year to individuals and families with no restrictions. Their doors are open five days a week, Monday through Friday, to make sure our neighbors have one less thing to worry about:
