 When parents find out their child will be born with a disability, they often don't know where to turn. They need guidance from someone who has been through the same situations, who knows on a personal level how to adapt to a child with special needs. At The Ollie Webb Center, Inc., the Parent to Parent program provides that connection between new parents and trained Supporting Parent couples. They go beyond the abilities of health professionals to show these parents that there is help and hope to be found in their surrounding community.
