 When refugees arrive in the Omaha area, they need help getting settled into our community. There are many obstacles facing each refugee and the International Center of the Heartland is there to help them overcome these obstacles. They work with multiple community partners to connect refugees to much needed resources on their quest towards self sufficiency. See below how the International Center helped one man start his life over in the United States:
