Many of these doctors come from war-torn countries with universities that may no longer be standing. The financial burden of seeking certification can be overbearing to healthcare workers trying to gain education while supporting a family. Project Bridge works to harvest this untapped resource by providing educational opportunities and financial support to healthcare workers seeking opportunities in the US medical system.
