The 2-1-1 call center, headquartered at United Way of the Midlands, is an information and referral phone line. Local emergency planners have engaged 2-1-1 to help disseminate information, as a part of our communities' overall disaster response.  Working closely with emergency management teams in nearby counties, the call center can provide connections between flood victims and the services available to them in our region.

Calls can be made to 2-1-1 any time of day or night.  In addition to disaster services, the call specialists at 2-1-1 offer meaningful year-round referrals on a wide variety of available health and human services across Nebraska, and in these Iowa  counties: Pottawattamie, Harrison, Mills, Shelby, Cass, Montgomery, Fremont and Page.

As the flooding continues to impact our community, volunteers and product donations are needed to aid those displaced in affected communities.  To view the 2-1-1 online database, click here.
